Aged Care IPC Lead Webinars

The DHHS Aged Care Quality Improvement Unit together with DHHS Infection Prevention Control Advice and Response (IPCAR) and the VICNISS Coordinating Centre is implementing a program of support for Aged Care Infection Prevention Control (IPC) leads in public sector residential aged care services (PSRACS). This program includes eight weekly online webinars that align with content taught within the ACIPC Foundations course. The content has been developed by the IPCAR education team and facilitated by Content Matter Experts from IPCAR, VICNISS, VACRC and RICPRAC. Online forums and workshops will follow the webinars to further complement IPC knowledge and development.

For those IPC Leads (or other nominated persons) wishing to join the webinars please note:

• All webinars (up to one hour) will be held on a Wednesday and commence at 2pm.
• Registration can be done in advance by clicking on the links below. 
• After registering, a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar will be sent to the registered person. 
• At the bottom of the confirmation email there is a link for, if necessary, cancelling a registration – important because there may be a waiting list.
• These webinars will be recorded and available for later viewing on the VICNISS website under RESOURCES > VICNISS SEMINARS & WEBINARS (registration to VICNISS required)
