For hospitals undertaking C-Section, surveillance data are stratified by the basic NNIS Risk Index to allow for comparison with published NNIS rates. A Standardised Infection Ratio derived from the data, which uses the additional risk factors to achieve a more refined risk adjustment, is also supplied. Type 1 De-identified Hospital Data Reports (available as from Q405)

Double letter codes have been allocated to each hospital. Hospitals retain the same double letter code for all charts, therefore hospital AA ins one chart is the same hospital displayed as AA in another chart. We have provided your hospitals' double letter code on your reports page accessed from the links below.

The data is prefaced by an explanation on how to interpret the charts in the report. We strongly encourage you to read this section. The report has been developed in response to feedback from many hospitals that they would like to see how they rank against other hospitals.

The format of the reports have been developed following consultation with the VICNISS Advisory Committee and several Infection Control Consultants. We trust you will find this report useful.
